The Canadian Paediatric Society and Health Canada
The Canadian Paediatric Society and Health Canada have recommended exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, with the introduction of complementary foods thereafter, and continued breastfeeding for up to two years and beyond. It is expected that this recommendation will be relayed to expectant parents, and will impact infant feeding decisions made during the prenatal period.
